Country Log Homes, Luxury Log Homes and Country Homes
Camp John Hay Log Homes and Country Log Homes are a part of a
cluster of residences strategically located on the highest point
of the camp where the fabulous Mile High complex had its glory.
Just beside Camp John Hay Suites, the Log Homes are within the
golf course area in the former 19th tee, offering spectacular
views of the mountains, forests and the newly enhanced golf
course designed by no less than the Jack Nicklaus Design Company.
As an additional feature, the Country Log Homes are constructed
from fragrant red cedar wood imported from Canada. Each log home
Master's Bedroom is fitted with its own fireplace and sauna,
aside from the living room's own fireplace.
Alongside the Log Home's sterling amenities, you will exclusively
enjoy all the facilities that Camp John Hay has to offer: the
Village Center equipped with a bowling alley, skating rinks,
heated swimming pools, badminton and tennis courts and other
indoor and outdoor recreational facilities. The Active
Recreational Cluster provides thrilling amusement for the family
while the Cordillera Cluster gives the visitor an arresting
visual tour of the mountain region showcasing Baguio's charming

Camp John Hay Country Log Homes
The Camp John Hay Log Home us a single-detached three-storey,
three bedroom unit. In the ground floor, a foyer would lead into
the living room with a fireplace. Also in the ground floor are
the dining room, kitchen, and maid's quarters and toilet and
bath. A guest toilet is also provided. A sliding door leads out
to a view deck that covers both living and dining areas.
The second and third floors are bedroom floors. The master's
bedroom is located at the second floor. All bedrooms have their
own walk-in closets and toilets and baths. For the master's
toilet and bath, there is a space to a bathtub and sauna.
Just like the Country Homes, the Country Log Homes are built on a
solid concrete foundation on concrete slabs. Cedar logs imported
from North America will be used to clad the exterior walls. Wood
planks made from hardwood will be used for the interior walls.
Wood shakes will compose the roofing and flooring will be made of
oak wood tongue and groove.
For safety, each unit is equipped with smoke and fire alarms that
will be eventually connected to the Camp John Hay Fire
Department.
There shall be only one type of Country Log Homes. The Flat type
with a floor area of TWO HUNDRED THIRTY-SIX (236) square meters.
Only a total of twenty-two Country Log Homes shall be built.
Construction time for a single unit is estimated to be from nine
to twelve months. Ownership of the unit is a right to use or
leasehold of up to October 2046.
Unit shall be turned over to unit owners SEMI-FURNISHED but not
FURNISHED. Furnishings shall be to the preference and account of
unit owners. Included in the furnishing would be modular
cabinets, counter tops for the kitchen and toilets and bath, and
pin lights or down lights.

Camp John Hay Luxury Log Homes
In an area surrounded by Benguet pine trees, rises a home made
from logs. Made from cedar logs imported from North America, the
three-storey, three-bedroom affair has a gross floor area of 590
sq. meters spread over a lot area of some 250 sq. meters.
On the ground (main) floor you will find: foyer, which leads to a
den and expansive living and dining room. There is also a powder
room for guests. The same floor also features a gas-fed
fireplace, kitchen, maid's room with its own toilet and bath,
utility room and an automatic garage, which can fit two cars.
Circular living and dining rooms lead out to a lanai (balcony)
that wraps around the whole posterior of the house.
Wooden stairs lead up to the next floor where the master's
bedroom and two other bedrooms are located. The master's bedroom
is a jewel, as it has its own gas-fed fireplace, a glass sliding
door leading out to a balcony. A large walk-in closet leading to
the master's toilet and bath which has an enclosed shower, and
enclosed toilet and bidet, a bathtub and a sit-down sauna. An
open walkway fronting the bedrooms affords an observer's
unobstructed view of the living and dining areas below.
Relatively similar, the two other bedrooms also have their own
walk-in closets and toilets and bath. All bedrooms have large
picture windows to maximize the view of the natural environment.
The attic and the den, having closets and toilet and baths of
their own, may be converted into functional rooms; a guest,
study, home entertainment or recreational rooms. In all, there
are seven possible bedrooms, each with their toilet and bath.
The logs have been kiln dried and treated against wood pests
prior to importation. Red cedar hardwood comprises the flooring
of the log home. Clay shingles are used for roofing to protect
the house from various weather conditions. Double glazed
perma-shield aluminum picture windows fitted with fir wood insets
contribute to excellent acoustic and aesthetics of the home.
The CJH Log Home is guaranteed not to leak at the log seams. The
log home made use of half logs which sandwich an insulated wall
to ensure that water and air do not seep inside. This will
maintain the desired temperature inside the unit when windows and
doors are closed.
The Luxury Log Homes shall be delivered to the unit owners
without furnishings. However, buyers may choose to get the
services of CJH Development Corporation's interior designing
consultant Steven Leach and Associates, Inc. to do the
furnishing.
The Camp John Hay Luxury Log Homes are exclusively marketed by
Fil-Estate Marketing Companies. With a lease price ranging from
PHP30 million to PHP40 million. The log home shall be the address
up to the year 2046 for the discriminating of taste and reserved
for those whom luxury and comfort a premium.

Camp John Hay Country Homes
The Country Home is a four-storey three-bedroom unit. The
basement floor would be for the maid's quarters and utility area
having its own toilet and bath. The main floor houses the living,
dining and kitchen areas. A fireplace is found in the living
room. Also included in the main floor is a storage room and
guests toilets. In the dining area, a sliding door leads out a
porch that gives a breath-taking view of the Golden Bear
re-developed Golf Course.
The next floor houses the bedrooms. Two smaller bedrooms share a
common toilet and bath. The fourth floor is an open-spaced attic
with a dormer window. Unit owners may convert this room into a
fourth bedroom or a study, audio-video room or game room.
The unit is made of solid concrete and pro-fabricated imported
steel frames. The walls and ceilings are made from gypsum board,
which acts as fire-retardant and insulation from the climate and
weather. The floors are made from engineered medium density fiber
veneer oak. Roofing is made of asphalt shingles while exterior
walls are made from concrete-fiber hardiboard.
For safety, the units are equipped with smoke and fire alarms
that will eventually be connected to our own Camp John Hay Fire
Department.
There are three types of Country Homes; the flat type with a
floor area of two hundred twenty-five (225) square meters, Uphill
and Downhill types with floor areas of two hundred five (205)
square meters. Only a total of 27 Country Homes shall be built.
Ownership of the unit is a right to use or leasehold up to
October 2046.
Units shall be turned over to the owners semi-furnished but not
furnished. Furnishing shall be to the preference and account of
unit owners. Included in the furnishing would be modular
